These Terms of Use govern your use of triviabyme.com ("TriviaByMe," "the Site"), a project of the Trivia Writers' Co-Op ("TWC"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

The service

TriviaByMe is a free, read-only directory of trivia nights, built from listings hosts and businesses maintain on TWC's own site. There's nothing to sign up for, and nothing can be added or edited here directly.

Trivia nights get cancelled, rescheduled, or moved. Please confirm a listing is still accurate - directly with the venue or host - before making plans around it, especially before traveling any distance.

Accuracy of listings

Listings are submitted and maintained by third parties (trivia hosts and businesses) through TWC, not verified by us in real time. They may be inaccurate, out of date, or wrong. Look for a "TWC Certified" badge for hosts TWC has vetted for quality - it isn't a guarantee any specific listing's schedule is currently correct.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Scrape, crawl, or systematically harvest the Site through automated means.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its infrastructure.
Use the Site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation.

Intellectual property

The Site's design, layout, and code are protected by copyright. Event and business listing content originates from TWC's own database. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Service availability

We provide the Site on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis, and may modify, limit, or discontinue any part of it at any time, with or without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any damages or losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site, or from relying on a listing that turns out to be inaccurate or out of date.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the current version.
